Weekly Update

Good afternoon everyone

Finally, the time has come. We hope you all enjoyed the events we hosted throughout 0.2, a huge thank you goes to all the volunteers who helped and, of course, to all of those who participated.

I can’t express how thrilled I am at the progress we’ve made, it really does mean a lot to see events in their current form. That being said, they’re only going to get better in 0.3 as we get access to new features, locations, weapons and more!

Post-0.3 release plan,

We understand that these events can take a toll on players’ cash and gear and the GMs themselves have to do a lot to finance and source items for these events. So with that in mind, we’ll be building in a small grace period after 0.3 drops to let everyone get to grips with the new features, level up their vendors and get a good cash/gear foundation. We don’t want people to go bankrupt immediately or be at a disadvantage because they’ve not had a fair chance to level up vendors or grab the best kit. Whilst we’ll be hosting events on private servers, we’ll also be using the standard ones so it’s important to have a strong base before we begin.

We hope you understand our reasoning, we’ll still be in the game with you and organising fights here and there. The grace periods starts now and we will return on 13th June 2025. We’ll still be running our weekly screenshot competition though, so please keep entering for a chance to win and get a head start in 0.3. You can also take advantage of bounties and ⁠black market throughout this period.

Upcoming features,

With 0.3 comes a swathe of new tools, ideas and modes. We’ve got plenty of new features coming up, including but not limited to:

• Private servers,
• Altair’s Airdrops being implemented in-game,
• Thematic events,
• The return of out week-long Operations,
• Veteran events,
• Tournaments,
• Live event casting,
• AND MORE!,

We don’t want to give everything away but we’re working very closely with MFG on what we can bring to the game so please stay tuned for further announcements.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the GM Team, Virtual Yoda, our volunteers and everyone at MFG who have supported and helped take these events to the next level. We will continue to improve and create new scenarios for you to enjoy.
