Weekly Update

Good morning everyone

We have a little treat this week, offering in-game prizes, merch and ultimate bragging rights.

As for our events, we’ll be cancelling Wednesday’s Fight Night as Tyy is competing in a tournament. We wish him the best of luck and hope he comes back with a win.

We’ll be continuing our reduced schedule this week to keep the events ticking over under the reduced activity we’re experiencing at the moment.

We thought we’d do something a little different this year and allow players to vote on the best screenshot of 2025, pooled from the winners of all previous weekly competitions.

Including today’s winners, you’ll be able to vote on any previous winner from 2025 to claim the title of Screenshot of the Year.

We’re working closely with MFG on this, here’s a little message from them to tell you more…

It’s time to choose the best of the best. Throughout the year, our Community Game Masters have selected and rewarded standout screenshots from the players, and the final collection is truly impressive.

We will announce the winner live during our next live stream on December 17.

Voting is now LIVE! So jump in and choose your favourite. Prizes will include in-game items (delivered in 0.4 to give you the best start), GZW merchandise and prestige!

During this voting period, we will suspend the screenshot competition so all entries have the same amount of voting time.

This week’s events

Please see this week’s events below. Farmer and DG will be hosting Sunday Funday for anyone who wants to explore Lamang and practice with no gear fear (information will be posted in the events news channel for both events).

With a continuous decline in turnout and our wariness to run certain modes into the ground, we’ll just be running our Sunday events this week. We’re aware that we’ve ran the same things a lot recently and are concerned we’ll spoil these modes for future use if they’re used too much. The decline in players also doesn’t warrant a full event in either space.
