Hoard Mode – Joint Ops

PRE-BRIEF

This is your pre-brief for Hoard Mode, where we will outline how the event works, the rules and what’s up for grabs.

The Mission

This is a long format version of Stockpile. With attrition setting in and most of our assets being lost to the jungle, the need for new intelligence and information has become increasingly urgent. Contractors are instructed to collect specific items from the island, with those collecting the most of each being declared the winners. The contractors can either use or sell what they gather once the event is complete.

In order to help bolster our intelligence gathering, you are tasked with scouring Lamang for unique items. These items cannot be bought from vendors and must be gathered throughout the area, it is up to you to find them.

The items we’re looking for will be revealed when the event goes live, to avoid anyone gathering them in advance.

You will have several days to gather as much of these materials as you can. The bigger the item, the more points you’ll score for that item. Those with the highest 3 points will earn a prize. Even just entering the event will give you a random chance to win a Tier 3 prize.

The items you need to collect will be announced in the event news channel when the mode starts.

Prizes

We’ll be running Tier 2 prizes for this event. In order to be counted, you must gather the items and screenshot them in your possession (stash and on character) in order for us to count them. If you run out of stash space, feel free to sell the items you’ve collected after you’ve screenshotted them and start a second run, we’ll merge all of your counts into one. You can try to gather all of the items or just concentrate on one.

Please place any screenshots in the ⁠Hoard channel.

Once the event is over, all winners will go into a pot and we’ll randomly select 2 winners to receive the prize.
