Good afternoon everyone

We have some news regarding the Community GM team, Twitch Drops and our expansion/support of other teams in the community. We’ll outline these below so please take a look at what we have in store.

Team Update

First, please let me welcome and introduce our newest member of the Community GM team, Egnyy. We’ve been supporting him recently with Czech-based events and are glad to officially welcome him to the team.

He will be concentrating on events for the Czech community, much in the way our other GMs look after PVE or PVP events and timezones. We’re working on incorporating the information into our site and announcements but in the meantime you can see them over at https://gzwevents.cz/.

We hope you give him a warm welcome and look forward to working together.

Regiment events

We’re continuing our support of the Regiment events and would like to congratulate Jarhead on joining their team. He has his first event coming up, so take a look below and jump in if you’re able to.

More Regiment and Vets events are in the works, we’ll add them to our Upcoming Events page as they get announced.

Twitch Drops

With Twitch Drops starting this week, we’ll be implementing ‘pop up’ versions of our events. These will be 1 round versions of our scenarios like King of the Hill, Body County, Cleanup, etc. The idea is that we can help increase viewership for people streaming who want to join in, offer more ways to climb our Leaderboard and capitalise on the increased player numbers without the large set-up and structure of our usual events.

We hope these can be much more relaxed so keep an eye on the events news channel for GMs popping these up throughout the Drops schedule. These events will be eligible for Leaderboard points so keep an eye out.

Leaderboard

With the recent introduction of our seasons and events patch, we’re still working on the Leaderboard page. This will be finished next week and will contain updated information on how to score points and a breakdown of our seasons.

Don’t worry, everyone who has scored an eligible point is listed and the current leaderboard is correct so we’ve got all the data sorted, we just need to add the ‘how to’ parts when work/life allow us the time.
