Anniversary Event – Vietnam Gun Run – Warfare

PRE-BRIEF

Welcome to your pre-brief for Gun Run. We’ll be going over the mission overview, as well as the structure/rules that we’ll be putting in place.

The Mission

Factions have just received a fresh batch of weapons to replace their worn out stock. In order to make sure these weapons are ready for deployment, players are instructed to assault a POI in order to give them some real-world testing. However, other PMCs have also received fresh deliveries so they’ll be doing the same. Last PMC standing can report back on the weapon’s effectiveness. Players must only use the weapons permitted by the brief until they are instructed to change.

The purpose of this game mode is to assault objectives using only the specified weapon(s) in each round, each new round will have a matching brief to outline what can and can’t be used. Rounds will last 30 minutes with a 15 minute break in-between to allow people to re-gear and regroup.

Please see the permitted weapons for each round/event below:

Gun Run

• Round 1: AKM, Sa vz. 58, Mosin Nagant, SKS, Type 51, smoke grenades
• Round 2: AKMN, M16A1, SVD, Vz. 61, Colt Commander, flash grenades
• Round 3: AKMSN, M14, M700, Colt 1911, frag grenades

Each round will use these weapons and equipment. Ammunition will NOT be restricted, so you can use whatever fits the above weapons. These weapons will also be paired with another piece of equipment, such as flashbangs or smokes, so if you don’t see something listed then you can’t use it. For example, if we say Glocks and smokes, you can’t use frag grenades.

Each new round will also take place at a new POI, with a new weapon to use. We will announce new rounds in the events news channel.

Rules

Please adhere to the below rules for the enjoyment of yourself and others. Failure to do so may result in removal from the server.

• Use only the weapons listed above
• DO NOT use mortars
• Do NOT intentionally TK and try not to report any accidental TKs
• Do NOT LZ/spawn camp
• Do NOT use optics or modern stocks/attachments
• Only use the equipment above, DO NOT USE ARMOUR

How to play

Simply join the custom server using the code above and on Discord. Here’s a quick guide on how to join a custom server:

• Go to the main menu
• Open your settings
• Select ‘Custom servers’
• Enter the code and press join

The code will become available roughly 30 minutes before we go live. We’ll keep you updated on when new rounds start/end in the events new channel channel.

Any extra servers will be booted up and the code placed in the events new channel channel.

Once you’re in, please follow the rules/structure and respect other players.
