Break the Bank – Joint Ops

Pre-brief

This is your pre-brief for Break the Bank, where we will outline how tonight’s event works, the rules and what’s up for grabs.

The Mission

Now that the three factions have been deadlocked for months, they’re seeking to gain a financial advantage over their rivals. With the discovery of high-tier loot on the island, contractors are instructed to go out and gather as much as possible. Those who can gain the most loot and sell it for the highest price will be rewarded for adding to the faction’s coffers.

Structure

The longer we’re here, the more costly it is to remain. You’re tasked with generating as many funds as possible to help fund our future endeavours in Lamang. We need you to gather high value loot items, such as watches, cameras, jewelry, etc.

You will have 3 hours to gather as much of these high-value items as you can. At the end, you must sell these to a vendor and provide proof of sale, whoever manages to sell the most value will win.

Rules

Please take note of the below rules to maintain fairness throughout.

• Sell only high-value loot items
• Sell all items in one go at the end of the event, screenshotting the list and total before confirming the transaction (THIS MEANS ONE SCREENSHOT PER PLAYER)
• You can gather HVL items however you like

How to play

Simply join the custom server using the code above and on Discord. Here’s a quick guide on how to join a custom server:

• Go to the main menu
• Open your settings
• Select ‘Custom servers’
• Enter the code and press join

The code will become available roughly 30 minutes before we go live. We’ll keep you updated on when new rounds start/end in the events news channel.

Once you’re in, please follow the rules/structure and respect other players.

Prizes

We’ll be running Tier 2 prizes for this event. There will be 3 winners in each phase, based on who sells the most high value loot.

In order to be counted, you must sell all of the items in one go to Handshake and screenshot the transaction before completing it (at the end of the event).

Sales including anything but HVL will be discounted. Please place any screenshots in the ⁠bank channel.
